Sean Carroll's Blog

preposterousuniverse.com is the personal blog site of Caltech Physics Professor, Sean Carroll. The specific link I have given will take you to a blog post from 2019 'True Facts About Cosmology (or, Misconceptions Skewered)', which is a nice accessible summary of some of the big ideas and open problems in cosmology.

Sabine Hossenfelder's Blog

Dr Hossenfelder is a Theoretical Physicist at the Frankfurt Institute for Advanced Studies. Her blog (and embedded YouTube videos) are very accessible, and cover a lot of high level topics. I especially enjoyed a recent post (November 2020) 'Warp Drive News. Seriously!', which I'd recommend you take a look at!

Adam Falkowski's Blog

A very entertaining particle physics blog by Dr Falkowski, who is a theoretical particle physicist at the Laboratoire de Physique Theorique d'Orsay. The blog is pitched at a fairly advanced audience, but gives a nice commentary on some of the contemporary results and questions in particle physics research. See for example the April 8th 2021 post discussing the muon g-2 data from Fermilab.
